We want you to love shopping with Mikolia, and we’ve tried to keep these terms as clear and human as possible. They apply whenever you use www.Mikolia.com or place an order with us, so please have a read before you buy.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours and prices are accurate.
However:
- Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting and device settings.
- Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Handmade, hand-finished or natural products may have minor variations in colour, texture, finish or dimensions.
- Small variations that are part of a product’s materials or manufacturing process are not necessarily faults.
- Styling accessories shown in lifestyle photographs are not included unless specifically stated in the product description.
Please review the product description carefully before ordering.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for that item. We may offer a suitable alternative, but you will not be required to accept it.
We may limit the quantity of an item available to each customer where reasonably necessary.
5. Prices
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
Delivery charges are shown separately before you complete your purchase.
We may change our prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
If a product has been listed with an obvious pricing or descriptive error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. Where practical, we will allow you to place a new order at the correct price.
6. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when placing an order, including your name, delivery address, email address, and payment details.
After placing an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean it has been accepted.
A contract between you and Mikolia is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:
- A product is unavailable
- Payment has not been authorised
- The price or product information contains an obvious error
- We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity
- Delivery cannot be completed to the address supplied
- The order breaches these Terms of Service
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will issue a full refund for the cancelled item or order.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply.
We are not responsible for delays caused by a bank, card provider or payment service that are outside our reasonable control.
8. Discount Codes and Promotions
Discount codes and promotional offers:
- Must be used before their stated expiry date
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot normally be applied retrospectively
- Cannot be combined unless expressly stated
- May be subject to minimum-spend or product restrictions
- May be withdrawn or amended where reasonably necessary
Only one discount code may be used per order unless the promotion states otherwise.
We may cancel a discount or order where we reasonably believe that a promotion has been misused, obtained fraudulently or applied because of a technical error.
9. Delivery
Delivery options, charges, and estimated timeframes are displayed on our website or during checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree to a specific guaranteed date. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the stated timeframe.
Unless another timeframe has been agreed, goods will normally be delivered within 30 days of the order being accepted.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.
If nobody is available to accept delivery, the carrier may leave instructions, attempt redelivery, deliver to a safe place where authorised, or send the parcel to a collection point.
Additional charges may apply if an order must be resent because:
- An incorrect address was provided
- Delivery was refused without a valid reason
- The parcel was not collected
- The carrier was unable to deliver after reasonable attempts
This does not apply where delivery failed because of an error by Mikolia or the carrier.
10. Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for the products passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive them.
Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full and the products have been delivered.
11. Cancelling or Changing an Order
If you wish to cancel or change an order before dispatch, contact us immediately at hello@Mikolia.com.
We will try to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or stopped once processing has begun.
If the order has already been dispatched, it must be returned in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
12. Returns and Refunds
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.
For most eligible online purchases, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to cancel. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the products. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms, although you are not required to.
Customers are responsible for the cost of change-of-mind returns unless we state otherwise. Mikolia will cover reasonable return costs where a product is confirmed as faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

13. Bedding and Textile Products
Bedding and textile products may be returned within the applicable cancellation period provided they are unused, unwashed and free from marks, stains, odours, pet hair or other signs of use.
They should be returned with their original packaging, labels and accessories.
Where a product is supplied with an applicable hygiene seal, the right to cancel may be lost once that seal has been broken, provided the legal requirements for the hygiene exception are met.
This restriction does not apply where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
14. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
Please inspect your order after delivery. If a product arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours, providing:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging
- A photograph of the delivery label, where relevant
The 48-hour reporting request helps us investigate delivery damage and does not limit your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund and arrange the return at no additional cost to you.
15. Fragile Products
Many Mikolia products are delicate or fragile.
When returning a fragile item, you must package it carefully and use its original protective packaging wherever reasonably possible.
We may reduce a refund to reflect loss in value caused by unnecessary handling or damage resulting from inadequate return packaging, where legally permitted. This does not affect your rights where a product was already faulty or damaged when delivered.
16. Refused and Uncollected Deliveries
If an order is refused or not collected and is returned to us, we may deduct reasonable carrier or return-delivery costs from your refund where permitted by law.
No such deduction will be made where the delivery was rejected because the goods were faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise did not conform to the contract.
17. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All content on the Mikolia website, including text, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, designs and website layout, is owned by or licensed to Mikolia and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and print website content for personal, non-commercial use.
You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell or commercially use our content without our prior written permission.
“Mikolia” and associated branding may not be used in a manner that suggests an endorsement, partnership or affiliation without our written consent.
18. Reviews and User-Submitted Content
If you submit a product review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:
- The content is truthful and based on your genuine experience
- You have the right to submit it
- It does not infringe on another person’s rights
- It is not unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening or misleading
- It does not contain malicious code or unauthorised advertising
You grant Mikolia a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and use submitted content in connection with our website and marketing, subject to applicable data-protection law.
We may moderate or remove content that breaches these terms, but we are not obliged to publish every submission.
19. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may include links to third-party websites or services.
These links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.
Your use of a third-party website or service is subject to that provider’s own terms.
20. Privacy and Cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy. Please review those policies before using the website or placing an order.
21. Our Responsibility to You
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of your statutory consumer rights
- Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Our products are intended primarily for personal and domestic use. If you use them for commercial or business purposes, we are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, contracts, opportunity or goodwill, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
22. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, carrier interruption, industrial action, natural disasters, governmental action, utility failure or significant technical disruption.
If such an event materially affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.
Your statutory rights, including any right to cancel where applicable, remain unaffected.
23. Complaints
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at hello@Mikolia.com or on 0207 183 3871 and give us the chance to put it right. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to resolve them fairly and as quickly as we reasonably can.
If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may be able to seek advice from Citizens Advice or pursue other options available to you under UK consumer law. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal obligations.
The terms in force when your order is accepted will apply to that purchase. Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing contract unless required by law or agreed with you.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.
25. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in effect.
26. Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
27. Transfer of Rights
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent.
We may transfer our rights or obligations to another organisation, provided that doing so does not reduce your rights under the contract.
28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any contract between you and Mikolia are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory legal protection available to you as a consumer.
